Introduction
Life often presents situations where every door appears closed. There are seasons when we feel trapped by failure, disappointment, sickness, financial hardship, or uncertainty. Yet, one of the greatest truths about our God is that He specialises in making a way where there seems to be no way. What is impossible for man is never impossible for God.
The God who parted the Red Sea, fed Israel in the wilderness, and raised Jesus from the dead is still at work today. He has not changed.
1. God Is Not Limited by Human Circumstances
The Israelites stood before the Red Sea with Pharaoh's army behind them. To human eyes, escape was impossible. But God opened a path through the sea.
Our limitations do not limit God. He is not restricted by what doctors say, by the economy, by age, or by people's opinions. He is the Almighty.
Isaiah 59:1 reminds us:
"Behold, the Lord's hand is not shortened, that it cannot save."
2. God Brings New Beginnings
God told Israel not to dwell on the former things because He was about to do something new.
Many people remain prisoners of yesterday's failures, sins, disappointments, or missed opportunities. God calls us to trust Him for a fresh beginning.
Whatever has been lost can be restored when God steps into the situation.
Lamentations 3:22-23
"His compassions fail not. They are new every morning."
3. God Makes a Way in Impossible Places
God promised to make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.
The wilderness represents confusion and uncertainty.
The desert represents dryness, lack, and hopelessness.
Where others see impossibility, God sees opportunity to reveal His power.
He can provide employment where there are no vacancies.
He can restore marriages that appear beyond repair.
He can heal diseases considered incurable.
He can lift those everyone has written off.
4. Faith Is Required to Experience God's New Thing
God's promises are received through faith.
Before the Red Sea parted, Moses had to stretch out his rod.
Before the Jordan River divided, the priests had to step into the water.
Faith often requires obedience before the miracle appears.
Do not wait until everything makes sense before trusting God.
5. Give God the Glory When the Way Appears
When God opens doors no man can shut, remember to give Him all the glory.
Many receive miracles but forget the Miracle Worker.
Your testimony should point others to Christ and strengthen their faith.
Conclusion
No matter how impossible your situation may seem today, your God is still the God who makes a way.
He can open closed doors.
He can restore wasted years.
He can turn sorrow into joy.
He can bring rivers into your desert.
Trust Him completely and refuse to give up. The same God who made a way for His people in the past is able to make a way for you today.
